WW - Leroy & Fils of 35 Ave, Opera, Paris, 22mm x 36mm to lug tips, 16mm wire lug width, original 18K yellow gold hinged back case with French hallmarks to case and lugs, no strap, original silvered dial with gilt chapter line and polished gold numerals, 17J, s#155139 (#156839 on case), triple signed. Gross weight of 18K gold case without movement or crystal 8.1 dwt (12.6 g). Incredibly rare and highly unusual; true Leroy wristwatches do not come to auction often.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, light toning to plates; excellent dial with ample discoloration to perimeter which is hidden by the case; excellent gold hands; polished case shows little wear, light dings on lugs as well as one small ding to bezel; crown shows little wear; good plastic crystal.
